Connecting your accounts
To publish ads and pull in performance data, uplane needs to connect to your advertising accounts. You can also connect Slack to receive automated reports. All of this is managed in one place: Channels.
Opening Channels
Open your profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Channels.
Connecting a Meta ad account
Meta is the ad platform behind Facebook and Instagram.
- In Channels, find the Meta Ads section.
- Click Connect Meta Account.
- A Meta login window opens. Sign in with the account that has access to your ad accounts and approve the permissions uplane requests.
- Once connected, your account appears under Connected Accounts.
You can connect more than one Meta account — use Add Another Account to link additional ones. To remove an account, open it and choose Disconnect.
Tip: Connect Meta before you try to launch ads. When you launch, uplane uses these connected accounts to choose where the ad runs.
What connecting Meta enables
- Launching ads directly to your Meta campaigns and ad sets.
- Performance data flowing into your Dashboard, Campaigns, and Reports.
Connecting Slack (optional)
Connect a Slack channel to have uplane send performance reports to your team automatically.
- In Channels, find the Slack section.
- Click Connect Slack Channel and authorize uplane in the Slack window.
- Choose the channel you'd like reports delivered to.
You can connect multiple channels with Add Another Channel, and disconnect any of them later.
Note: Connecting or removing Slack channels may be limited to workspace administrators. If you don't see the option, ask an admin to set it up.
